In Freefall Tournament, you battle opponents in fast-paced matches. There are 8 classes with unique bombs, weapons, and special abilities. Jetpack through 3 low gravity maps and lock-on target to defeat your opponents in aerial combat. There are ranks, which unlock armor upgrades, all the way up to general.
The year 2027 brought hope to a world on the brink of environmental and political collapse. On the last leg of its funding, NATO’s United Space Mission (USM) made a discovery on the moon that changed the course of human history. A large alloyed sphere, found nestled in a crater under the lunar dawn, is revealed to be an alien artifact containing a message for mankind.
As an international team slowly deciphered the artifact, the content of this message began catalyzing a huge leap forward in our sciences. Humanity was abruptly catapulted into a new interstellar age. There are those who now believe we were not ready.
Freefall Tournament – a space marines themed TPS (third person shooter)
Intense, fast-paced, team combat. Animation and camera control that make you feel like a space marine…super human. Have it all: jetpacks, armor, hammers, swords, guns, bombs, in melee, ranged, and aerial combat.
Tanks smashing with hammers, deadly Scouts slashing their enemies down the middle with their katana, different jetpacks for every class create dynamic aerial combat, Gunners sniping from across the map, and Tech healing and dueling while laying down turrets. Even throw f-bombs!
All class specific jetpacks allow you to hop and bound across the map gaining momentum and speed.Your team’s combined skill and coordination determine the winner of Freefall Tournament. Choose to fight as one of a growing cast of classes battling in 10-20 minute matches. Please try it out, it is not like other shooters.
Freefall Tournament Guide
Right Mouse Button: Target lock enemies for short predictive bursts; less damage per second than free shooting, but more practical for dog fighting.
Your heroes are equipped with high octane jetpacks. Master the skies!Each hero has distinct (Q) & (E) skills which grant powerful effects but work on cooldowns. Additionally, each hero has its own mighty (F) Bomb attack with limited ammunition. Gain experience and Z-Cash from each match to rank up your operator and upgrade your heroes.
Different Heroes fit different play styles, but they were designed around players swapping hero frequently based on their team and the current situation on the Freefall Tournament battlefield.
Freefall Tournament Modes
If match time expires, the team with the higher score wins the match (see about Overtime below for the one exception to this rule). Kills gain small amounts of points even in modes other than Deathmatch. This small amount of kill points can work as a tie-breaker when objective points are equal.
Control point resource:
Follow sensors to map Control Points; stay on them to to shift control to your team. First team to reach a score of 1000 wins the match. If the losing team holds all Control Points when the match time limit expires, the game enters Overtime. Overtime lasts until the winning team re-takes a Control Point or until the controlling team overtakes the winning team’s score.
Control point scramble:
One Control Point is active at a time. Capture the point and then beat your opponents to the next randomly activated Control Point. 200 points awarded per capture, first team to 1000 points wins the match in Freefall Tournament.
Get to the escort zones and eliminate all opponents therein to move the Payload towards your opponent’s side of the map. The team that pushes the Payload all the way wins the match.
Score points by killing opponents. First team to 1000 points wins the match.
